Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Supervising and directing plant operations in conjunction with the Plant Manager • Implementing company safety policies & procedures, insuring that all safety requirements and guidelines are being followed. Including State & Federal OSHA regulatory programs. • Ability to work and supervise independently, making the necessary decisions to assure the optimum, safe operation of a glass beneficiation facility. • Ability to supervise and manage staff of 25 employees which would include supervisors, maintenance mechanics, line sorters and administrative employees. • Supervise daily, weekly and monthly maintenance activities, including PM on all rolling stock, as well as process line PM and repairs. • Supervise day to day shipping & receiving, tracking inbound & outbound material daily, completing reports as required.
Requirements: • High school graduate with a minimum 3 years experience in a supervision or management role in a manufacturing/production environment. • Ideal candidates will have a business degree with specified recycling background and experience.
